16 August Ride

A good turnout at The Barge Inn, Battlesbridge and the weather was just about perfect for Dave's ride today and thansk to Jim for tail ending. Some lovely roads through villages that I used to ride through on my commute from Maldon to John Menzies in South Woodham Ferrers in the 80s (Oh happy days....NOT). Then north to Hatfield Peverall and then Terling. for coffee and tea at The Owl on the Green Tea Rooms. Amused to see the Harley Davidson riders with their delicate porcelein cups of tea, such fun...

A few photos of machines in the car park. No 1 'half a ride' left at this point to go home. I do hope the rest of the ride was as enjoyable.
