A little chill in the air after so many warm days, but the rain held off for at least the first half. Many thanks to Julian for leading and Stuart for tail ending. A shame about the roadworks in Hockley, otherwise a lovely ramble through some twisty lanes from Battlesbridge to the The Cosy Cup café just outside Billericay. As 'Lightweight No.1' I had coffee and a pastry and then headed home. I do hope the second half went well.
